Brooke Burke wowed the nation for her breathtaking achievements when she took home the Mirrorball Trophy in 2008 and won Season 7 of Dancing with the Stars.
w, at 50 years old, Burke looks better than ever. In a chat with Muscle & Fitness Hers, the TV personality and fitness trainer shares an exclusive booty workout along with the lifestyle options that make her look so great.
“I used to do lots and lots of Weider covers,” recalls Burke, who spent a lot of time at Golds Gym on Venice Beach. "I won't even tell you, it must have been 30 years, but I have a lot of history and a lot of gratitude."
Early in her career, after studying broadcast journalism, Burke lit television screens and hosted shows like "Wild On!" and CBS & # 39; s "Rock Star," but her exceptional physical prowess came to the fore when Burke was able to combine dance and gymnastics on "DWTS".
Despite the jury's scorecards, this perfectionist who knows what she knows now wants to use her experience and do it all over again. “It's so terrifying to be stuck in it,” says Burke. “And it's such a crunch. I wasn't a dancer so I just keep the choreography and pressure of the live audience ... I wish I could go back and do it all over again! I always have this one vision to do that one dance again with Derek (Hough). "

After her breathtaking dance victory, Brooke Burke was impressed by the dancer's core strength, and as digital fitness began to emerge on social media and other platforms, the fitness model developed "Brooke Burke Body," one of the first apps to provide fitness challenges and exercise guides that can be done at home. These days, online fitness training has become a full-time job for Burke, who says she loves the opportunity to inspire and support people on their journey to healthier lifestyles. There's a lot of work going into the Brooke Burke Body app and the workouts aren't cobbled together on an iPhone. Instead, its content is breathtakingly produced. "I choreograph everything, and it really comes from two decades of experience," says Burke. “It's about figuring out the body and how to aim for tone in order to shape and lift it and build the right muscles. And how to meet all of these problem areas. In all honesty, it just doesn't happen to run on the treadmill, a StairMaster, or a bike ... having a yoga mat and some light hand weights and understanding compound movements and understanding how to get your heart rate up and causing a burn is real what these workouts are designed for. Burke says pushing the burn through is important to making positive changes in the body, and shares that there are no quick fixes when it comes to fitness. “It's a lifestyle and an obligation,” she says. "I like the feeling of accomplishment I get mentally when I do these things for myself." All of their workouts are designed with the pause button in mind, so those not quite ready for the full workout can build up in stages and do as much as they want. "Maybe you can do 30 seconds and next week you can do a minute," says Burke. "I like to tell people to start small to take away the intimidation and fear, because that's why a lot of people don't train." Burke also points out that she does all of the training with her audience and they go through that Whole coaches, in contrast to many coaches who only show a few repetitions and leave the rest to their students. “If I have a day off and I'm off balance, I don't cut that out,” she says. “It is completely imperfect. I want to keep it real because I want people to know that every day is different. "
