In March, when the coronavirus quarantined us all, Sara and her husband's business was badly hit. When everything came to a standstill, Sara faced the same growing stress that many of us were experiencing at the time.
Eating is one of the ways many of us deal with stress. especially while much of the country was closed. "When the quarantine started where I live in Maine, I was pretty closed and couldn't go to work because we didn't have a business. And that's when your challenge started."
I said I can either be unhappy during the quarantine and stay home and eat my worries away, or I can get my bum moving and take on this challenge and end up feeling better.

Sara set a goal of losing 50 pounds when she participated in the Trifecta 90 Day Challenge. She's signed the Trifecta Paleo menu and started following her macros. “The portion control is great. You only notice it when you are shown. When I started getting the meals, I was surprised that they were so filling. But just seeing what an actual serving is is important. "
Sara had never tried following macros before. She had tried various diet programs but never tracked their progress for 90 days. The decision to pursue "even if it hurts" made the difference for Sara. The visual representation of their progress at the end of everyday life made it easier to get closer to their goal.
“During the 90-day challenge, I lost over 30 pounds and changed my body composition. I won the challenge for my discipline by sharing my journey online and my incredible transformation. But my biggest win will be noticed closer to home. My husband, he's so proud of me he could scream and he just said, "You know, it was just so cool watching you because you're so much more positive."
As we all move into this New Year, Sara's journey shows that you are only 90 days from the best health of your life. The Trifecta Challenge starts on January 11th. When you're ready to do the shift and do your year this year, join the community and take the challenge!
