Some bodybuilders are less inhibited when it comes to poses. Kevin Levrone never had a problem showing off, as he did on this photo session for Flex magazine in Zuma Beach, CA.
There are tall cliffs at one end of Zuma. We walked along the water line until we were under those cliffs. On the coast the weather can often be cloudy, but the weather was perfect that day - sunny and warm, with a refreshing sea breeze. "I think California just brags about me," Kevin said as pelicans tumbled off the cliffs and a school of dolphins swam outside the surf line.

California has always had a reputation for promoting itself. And the beach has always been a part of the California experience in public opinion. Levrone was spectacularly physically built, so it was a good idea to photograph him in a spectacular setting.

At the end of the photo session, a seal appeared and started sunbathing on the beach.
So you can be a show-off yourself, Kevin - but try to beat California beach at its best. It's great to shoot a real show-off both as a model and as a location.
Kevin Levrone had an amazing career as a competitive bodybuilder. During his professional career, Levrone took part in 68 IFBB Professional competitions. Considered one of the best bodybuilders of the 90s, although he never won the prestigious Mr. Olympia title, he has won 23 pro shows and held the record of most wins as an IFBB professional until Ronnie Coleman set the new record in 2004 this record was finally broken in 2016 by Dexter Jackson with 29 victories.
