The winter soldier will help you prepare for spring and summer.
The actor Sebastian Stan - known as Bucky Barnes from the Avengers franchise and the Disney Plus series "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" - hits the weights again with Don Saladino, this time with the celebrity trainer at the March Superhero Challenge.
Registration for the four-week challenge, which begins March 1st, begins on Friday February 5th. Once registered, you will have access to a full exercise demonstration library, a My Nutrition Guide, private group access and a weekly zoom during the program.
To train with Stan and Saladino, all you need is a set of training dumbbells based on Stan's at-home program, which he relied on during the COVID-19 quarantine.
Do you have any questions about training? For a week during the March Superhero Challenge, you'll have the chance to ask Stan about Zoom himself as he will be the special guest speaker to answer all of your fitness questions.
The March Superhero Challenge isn't just for you as all proceeds go to the Ronald McDonald House in New York.
It's kind of a reunion for the actor and trainer who graced the cover of the March 2018 issue of Muscle & Fitness. Saladino, the owner of Drive Club in NYC, started working with Stan back in 2015 when the actor starred in the Broadway hit "Picnic".
Saladino recalls that while on Broadway, Stan was unable to properly crouch. For his roles in "Captain America," Stan gained mobility and a lot of height through a mix of heavy days and plyometrics and speed, which Saladino based on the West Side Barbell method in which lifters work to near one-rep -max loads at the beginning of the week and then moves explosively lighter to build strength.
