Harrison Ford reacts to being known as 'nonetheless extremely popular' at 80

Harrison Ford's latest (and likely last) performance as Indiana Jones premiered at the Cannes Film Festival last night, and the new film doesn't shy away from the actor's status as a longtime Hollywood heartthrob. He reportedly appears in one of the early scenes of Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny shirtless, baring his full chest at 80.

A reporter was visibly impressed by Ford's performance and during a press Q&A session gushed that he was "still got it" and "still really hot" and asked the actor about his fitness routine.

Ford responded in his trademark sarcastic manner, laughing as he said, "Look, I'm blessed with this body. Thanks for noticing.”

He's not the only Hollywood sex symbol contemplating aging. Speaking recently about his own mortality and body image, Arnold Schwarzeneggar said he's been seeing "a bunch of crap" in the mirror lately. t to mention 81-year-old Martha Stewart's recent appearance on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue.

Ford was surprisingly honored with the Palme d'Or for his filmography at Cannes, a moment when he took the stage to reflect on his extensive Hollywood career.

"It moves me a lot," Ford said. "They say when you're about to die you see your life flash before your eyes, and I just saw my life flash before my eyes. A big part of my life, but not my whole life. My life was made possible by my lovely wife who supported my passion and dreams and I am grateful.”

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny is the fifth installment in the blockbuster series and the first since 2008's Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. in cinemas in June.
